The knowledge of English is necessary as most of our customers are English-speaking.

YOUR MISSION

  • Manages and directs the MUSE dining room, HERON wine bar, and other service areas as directed. These activities are performed collaboratively while the Department Head is present and independently when DH is not present

  • Advises, where appropriate, in matters of HR (employee development, hiring & discipline, training, distribution of duties, elaboration of the schedules)

  • Assists in the management of financial resources (operating costs and inventory cost control)

  • Assumes light administrative tasks and duties as required

  • Coaches, directs, and assists department employees as needed towards consistently superior performance and outcomes

  • Supportive of overall Company and Departmental goals and vision.

  • Demonstrates ‘real-time’ agility and balance concerning managing the demands that service places upon personal mental and physical resources

  • Maintains full accountability for the financial (accurate billing, voids, promos, signed client payments, tip sheet delegation, end-of-day reporting) activities of the Department while serving as Supervisor

  • Actively seeks client feedback concerning their experiences and impressions while visiting with the Company. Works to inform DH of any situations that may require additional attention

  • Maintains flexibility to assume tables for service during peak dining hours until such tables can be safely and competently passed back to a dining room server
