DOG POLICY
You… and your best friend
We want to ensure a safe comfortable stay for you and your fellow guests.
Please observe the following guidelines:
We love all kinds of animals, but only domestic dogs are welcomed at the Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa.
A $50 (plus taxes) non-refundable cleaning fee is applied per stay.
Dog friendly rooms are located in the Miller’s House (701 & 702)
The Wakefield Mill will provide a bed, crate, bowls and a pee pad. If our housekeeping staff notices damages to items in the room while cleaning the room during and after your stay, a charge will be added to your bill. If any of the items are missing, an extra charge will be applied to your bill.
For the safety of your pets and our employees, your pet must be in the crate when it is alone in the room. Housekeepers will not clean the room if the pet is left unattended.
Your dog must be trained, controlled and supervised by his owners.
While we do not encourage dogs on our beds we have provided a bed cover to keep our white linens white. We ask that our hotel towels are not used for pets' messes.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times walking through the property.
We ask that you pick up after your dog and drop it off in the outside garbage containers.
Dogs are welcome on our front patio of the main Mill building.
If your room requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are accrued as a result of your pet’s actions, the hotel will charge for additional services and repair fees. ($100-$250)
Dog owners are responsible for their dog.
