HOTEL RECEPTIONIST

Reception is the bookend of the Wakefield Mill experience. You are the first person who greets each guest with a warm smile and “Hello” like they would a friend of family member. And you check the guests out at the end of their stay wishing them well as the leave.

YOUR MISSION

  • Keep records of available rooms, reservations, and rented rooms

  • Register clients in the arrivals register and assign them rooms

  • Respond to inquiries about hotel services and room availability, in person, by email or by phone

  • Provide information about services in the community and respond to customer complaints

  • Compile and verify daily registers, customer accounts, cash statements, and supporting documents using manual or computerized systems

  • Present the bills to customers leaving the hotel and collect the amounts due

REQUIREMENTS

  • The knowledge of English is necessary as most of our customers are English-speaking

  • Responsible, punctual, cheerful, cheerful, calm, welcoming and initiative-oriented personality

  • Likes to exceed customer expectations and needs

  • Experience or training in hospitality (reception and/or concierge, sales)

  • Knowledge of the Maestro system an asset

  • Flexibility for variable hours (day, evening, weekend)
