Communications and Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Communications and Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting the hotel, its two restaurants, and spa through various marketing initiatives, including:

  • Managing social media platforms on a regular basis: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok

  • Responding to messages and ensuring high-quality customer service

  • Planning the content calendar: bilingual copywriting, creating visuals (photos, reels, design, etc.), scheduling and publishing content

  • Designing, launching, and implementing seasonal campaigns via Meta Ads and Google Ads

  • Overseeing campaign performance: optimization, monitoring, and reporting

  • Maintaining weekly marketing activities to promote Moulin offerings: promotions, packages, restaurants, spa, etc.

  • Developing initiatives with the sales team to support their ongoing activities

  • Updating the website via the Squarespace platform: modifying images and content, creating new pages, updating packages, etc.

  • Creating newsletters: graphic design, bilingual content writing, assembly and integration via our dedicated platform

  • Designing visuals and graphic elements: menus, events, occasions, posters, local newspapers, magazines, etc.

  • Managing monthly collaborations: influencers, media partners, etc.

  • Handling influencer and media relations

  • Keeping up with marketing trends, the hospitality market, and competitors

  • Supporting and coordinating any other marketing-related activities

Profile sought:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Proficient with digital media and related tools

  • Skilled in managing multiple projects at once

  • Energetic, creative, and highly motivated

Requirements:

  • College diploma in communications, marketing, or a related field

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or communications

  • Experience in hospitality or tourism is an asset

  • Proficiency with the following tools: Google Analytics/Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Later

  • Skilled in website content management systems (CMS, WordPress, Squarespace) with solid knowledge of SEM and SEO

  • Proficiency with Canva and graphic/video editing tools

  • Familiarity with newsletter platforms (MailChimp, Cyberimpact, or others)

  • Knowledge of graphic software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)

  • Quick to learn new digital tools and platforms
