Why did you choose to work at the Wakefield Mill?
Nature! I wanted to discover the lodging business and work near Gatineau Park, and the Mill combines all of that.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The location, our work environment and my colleagues!
What is your favorite task?
The chance to connect with our customers!
What is the essential quality to do your job?
Learning to manage stress and getting through it with a smile on your face and also, organization skills.
What is your best memory at the Wakefield Mill ?
Our Christmas party in the Spa Forest was great! We had mulled wine, hot chocolate, gifts and a great afternoon by the firepit!
An anecdote to share ?
The team had the chance to try out the Eco-Odyssée labyrinth a few weeks ago. I did it with 2 of my colleagues from reception, and we had a lot of fun!
What do you enjoy the most of the region ?
Fresh air and large forests.

The Mill is a big family, whether you're here to stay or to work, and it is a true privilege to be part of it!
