How long have you been working with us?
Almost 1 year. Time flies by!
Why did you choose to work at the Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa?
It's not far from home and I love that we are directly in the nature, I always see animals nearby!
What do you enjoy most about the Mill?
I learn a lot of things and my colleagues. The kitchen staff always takes care of me, they are nice guys!
What is your favorite task?
Making the Mayonnaise! I learned to make 5 different kinds. My favorite is our black garlic tartar sauce.
What is the essential quality to do your job?
Always been in a good mood! It’s a small place so it makes a difference when the attitude is positive.
What is your best memory at the Wakefield Mill?
My team bought me a sweater for my birthday. They had it personalized with turtle pictures, but the heads were replaced by their faces!
What do you enjoy the most of the region?
I enjoy kayaking on Gauvreau Lake, which is about 10 minutes from the Mill. I also recommend Expédition Wakefield, located in front of the shore in Wakefield.
Why would you recommend the Wakefield Mill for work and/or sightseeing?
It is a beautiful place in nature, there are many things to see.
